Its time to go social

Hello friends, these days I was so much busy with my blogs, tamalanwar.com and BlogKori.com. I got amazed when I saw that blogkori is getting hundreds of visits per day in a very short time. Blogkori is getting much visitors and still have a very low bounce rate of <40%. StumbleUpon is giving me lots of traffic spikes and the good news is that, tamalanwar.com got Page rank 2 in the latest update of PR.

Tamal Anwar Dot Com is getting an impressive amount of google traffic and everyday it is getting new visitors. RSS readership has been increased and I'm watching that all most all of the readers are enjoying my articles on ta.

On the other hand, BlogKori's articles are all about practical blogging tips and the things which we do in everyday blogging. That's why I'm getting a nice readership and building a new sort of tech savvy readers.

I'm loving Twitter and now I got around 100+ followers. Started to using Friendfeed and its addicting. I'm trying to build my other social profiles all over again like, Digg and Delicious. Now all I have to do is to continue the hardwork as far as I can :)

Working on two blogs

Its a long time since I updated 'my live space.' I was very much busy working on my blog, tamalanwar.com. I have started my new blog which is called BlogKori. BlogKori.com is a special blog dedicated to Bangladeshi people to teach them about the basics of blogging and the 'how to's of every day blogging.

When I was ready to start this blog, Mushfiq from GamersWorldBD.com asked me to sponsor my blog. He wanted to sponsor the domain forever, in the exchange of a link back to his site. I liked the offer and his support for this nobel cause and I agreed with him.

Starting BlogKori, reminded me the old days of my blogging. Its a very much hard job to start from nothing. But I'm trying to write on a daily basis and have already got some readers for the blog. I will mass promote BlogKori when there would be enough articles to give.

After I switched from the subdomain blog-success.blogspot.com to tamalanwar.com, the rankings started to flick. For this changing of address, none of the addresses got placement in search terms. But the good news is that, after one month, yesterday I saw that I got back my older placements in search engines. I'm expecting that in the next page rank update, the new address will have the same page rank 3 but who knows? it could be even better.

Upgraded to my own domain

You know that recently I have changed my blog's address. I have transformed the .blogspot.com into a real .com domain, tamalanwar.com. I made my decision a month ago to buy this domain for the blog and kept this as a surprise and didn't told anybody on the internet about it.

On the first week of June, I bought it but was unable to set it up with my blog because I'm completely new with a real domain. It took me a week to learn and set it up and running for my blog and now you could simply type in, Tamal Anwar Dot Com at your browser and come to my blog.

Its a great upgrade for my blog but also, you have to lose some to get some. The new url has no Page rank, Alexa rank and Technorati authority. The old url was PR 3 and was in Alexa top 500,000. But I'm not disappointed about it, I will work hard to build it up again and this time I have more experience, of course I have my whole life to do this.

So far, I have managed to build up a steady RSS readership and I think its a good sign. These days, I'm writing some really long and contractive articles and the readers are loving it.

My blog is making me crazy

I never pushed my working limit this far before blogging. As you can see I'm writing lots of articles for my blog and at the same time I'm working hard to write guest articles and submitting articles on article directories. I have so far written for Ty Tribble on his blog MLM Blog Dot Net and for Tara on her blog The WAHM Blog Dot Com.

At the same time I'm working to build up relationship with my readers and fellow bloggers. I had managed to list 15 blogs in my niche but few days ago all of my bookmarks stored on my browser was gone.

I lost some blogs because I don't remember the url's of them but I'm sure I will find them. I'm using StumbleUpon to find new blogs with similar interests. Some of those blogs are new and some are old with big readership. It took me months to understand the system of StumbleUpon and I'm loving it.

Sure I will succeed in my online journey to the success with the help of my supporters. This is the time to work hard. I think most of my primary blogging job is over and now its time to go to the step 2 of blogging, "Developing readership." Thanks!

Guest blogging is my secret to success

You have seen guest articles from Barbara Silva on my blog and she is doing a great job to help be increase my contents. Sometimes I feel bored to write a new article and when I found Barbara has dropped an article, I thank her from my heart. Guest blogging is a nice innovation to interact with different audiences. I have recently asked one of my other blogger friend, Steven BerkHolz about being a guest blogger. He is a networker and a motivator and his writing skills are impressive. Yesterday he send me an article and soon you will find his posts on my blog.

As I need guest bloggers to participate in my blog, I reward them with at least one backlink from my blog. I also tag their articles with their name. I get guest writing requests from my readers every week. So if you have some writing skills and want to contribute, then feel free to mail me with some samples or links on tamalanwar at yahoo.com.

It is also required to participate as a guest blogger in other blogs. I have recently contacted other bloggers and one of my articles have already published on MLM Blog dot net. This blog is managed by Ty Tribble who is a successful networker and motivator and a regular reader of my blog. See the article here. My very first Squidoo

I joined Squidoo couple of days ago and created my very first Squidoo lens. I have always talked about my professional life on the internet and now you could read something personal about me. This was a test page, but I managed it to make it a bit of funny and interesting. I liked the Squidoo as my Wiki page, thats why I wrote what I liked.

I was looking for a site where I could write about myself. I couldn't write those on my blog, because its my professional blog; or on my live space here, thats why I wrote it on the one page lens from Squidoo. See my Squidoo page and don't forget to rate it!

I'm leaving Digg

I had used a lot of Digg.com and they gave me an impressive amount of traffic for my blog. I made over 500+ digg friends. There is no problem with the system and not that I've dissatisfied with their service. Its just my own decision to stop using Digg. Once you have seen my each post with a digg badge with 20-30+ diggs on all articles. For the lack of time, I have quit digging other pages months ago. Without giving the favor, requesting some favor is not worthy. For my limited time I have decided to stop using Digg.com. I won't delete my account, you can still visit it here.

The new look

If you recently have checked my blog then you could see the major updates in my blog's theme. I have installed a new theme with a new comment system. The new theme is bit of blue with orangy touch. It looks very much professional with its layout. Everything is more organized and now its easy to navigate. I took my decision to change the template to give a more personal touch to the blog. There are easy links everywhere to help find things. On the bottom, there are Latest posts, Recent comments and Useful links list.

A new implement to the blog is the new comments system. Now you don't have to go to another page to add comments and you could use it as a discussion board. You can create your own comments profile and then you will be listed on the top commentors box according to your rating. Check my blog regularly as I add more features and new updates.

My blog, The blog about success has now acquired Page Rank 3 from Google. It took 4 months to get the first update and it went from no PR to PR 3. I'm so glad about it and working harder to keep it up and get even more.

The key to get a good PR is to write lots of quality contents regularly and people will like to link with you. Never put any bad links in your site, like sites related to adult content, gambling, scam or punished(from Google) site. As I can see that getting a PR from Google is easy but it is harder to keep it up. A tiny mistake could make my PR back to zero.

Having a PR 3 opened many opportunities to me and the advertisers are now willing to pay me. Google is sending a nice amount of traffic daily. PR 3 doesn't give you an instant increase in your traffic. But it will increase periodically. I'm using Adsense and getting regular profits from it.

Barbara Silva who is a network marketing consultant helping others to build their home business from home-business-diary.com is now my guest writer in my blog. I came up with a schedule time of posting new article in my blog (The blog about success) thanks to blogger's new innovation blogger in draft. I just write my articles and publish them in scheduled time. This way my readers get posts right on time. The publishing times are, 11am and 5pm GMT. Check on those hours to get updates in my blog.
